Oregon Lamination Letter size 9” x 11.5” x 7 mil thick 2 sides thermal laminating pouches laminate up through 8-3/4” x 11-1/4” sheets and are high clarity after adhesive is heat activated. The clear glossy finish protects and enhances colors. These laminates are 7 mil thick on each side flap for extra strength, rigidity and protection. ALERT: Many pouch laminators on the market can seal a maximum of only 5 mil pouches, so PLEASE make sure your laminator is capable of sealing 7 mil pouches prior to ordering. (If you don’t have your machine’s manual, a good reference is if your laminator has either a speed control OR a temperature control, it will likely seal 7 mil pouches). Oregon Lamination is among industry leaders in providing the quality laminating supplies for a reasonable price. Our laminating products provide high value protection using quality materials. This product has heat activated adhesive compatible in all thermal pouch laminators capable of sealing 7 mil 9” x 11-1/2” laminating pouches. Note: Industry standard specification for 7 mil laminating pouches is 7 mil on each flap for a total of 14 mil added to your paper sheet. 1 mil equals 1/1000th of an inch (metric: 25 microns). The industry calls these pouches, yet they are sealed on only one edge instead of three (like a folder, but with 3/32” flat seal at the fold). FEATURES:High glossy finish brightens colors dramatically Waterproof and Resists Penetration by Chemicals, Greases, and Oils Small Pre-rounded Corners for a Smooth Professional Finish Metric Pouch size: 229mm x 292mm x 175 microns thick (x 2 sides = 350 microns total thickness added to your sheet) Recommended insert sheet size Maximum: 8-3/4” x 11-1/4” (222mm x 286mm) provides standard 1/8” (3mm) sealed edge border protecting your sheet’s edges Made of 2 Durable 7 mil polyester plastic sides including heat activated adhesive (14 mil total encapsulating and waterproofing your sheet) which becomes clear when heat and even pressure is applied (laminator recommended)TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:Laminating up through 8.75” x 11.25” paper sheets Standard 8.5” x 11” Letter size sheets Counter Card POP Displays Signs Notices Menus Waterproofing and Protecting Documents Report Covers Pictures & Photos Drawings & Diagrams Arts & Crafts Paper Sheets requiring excess handling Laminating Tips:When trying ANY for the 1st time, consider running at a slightly lower temperature (or faster speed). If the results are cloudy, you can always run the sheet again at a higher temperature or slower speed, but you cannot fix heat blisters caused by running too hot. If you plan on trimming or punching sheets, wait 24 to 72 hours for adequate adhesive curing time and a professional cut edge. All laminating pouches are not the same. Oregon Lamination laminating pouches have not been setting on the shelf for years. This means fresh adhesive may melt faster than expected, which means potential faster running times or slightly lower temperatures might be used. Oregon Lamination laminating supplies are manufactured to stringent specifications designated by actual users of the product to achieve high clarity with minimum defects. Note: Thank you for considering Oregon Lamination laminating products, designed by people who do laminating for a living and provide a performance guarantee.
