EVOLV Defy Lace LV Rock Climbing Shoe for Entry-Level Bouldering & Indoor Climbing

The Evolv Defy Lace LV Rock Climbing Shoe is an advanced entry-level rock shoe for beginners with low-volume feet. It’s a 6% overall lower-volume version of our Defy Lace Climbing Shoe. A snugger fit feels better for climbers with narrower feet or those looking for a higher-performance fit. Designed with slight asymmetry and camber, the Defy Lace LV allows for more precise foot placements, helping new climbers improve more quickly when compared to most flat, symmetric beginner climbing shoes. Ideal for climbers who want to customize the fit of their rock shoes, the ¾ speed-lace option lets you cinch them down for a bit of extra precision and performance. The lace-up version also has a slightly higher PSR rating (5) than the Defy (strap closure) and a 4.2mm outsole, making it a more powerful option while retaining enough sensitivity to learn proper foot technique. We made the upper out of a perforated microsuede for increased breathability, and the TRAX SAS outsole is the stickiest rubber compound that we make.
