ADAPTIC Non-Adhering Dressings are ideal for dry to highly exuding wounds such as 1st and 2nd degree burns, abrasions, grafts, venous and pressure ulcers, eczema, staples, incisions, etc. ADAPTIC is ideal for when adherence of wound dressings and exudate is to be prevented. ADAPTIC gauze is made of a knitted cellulose acetate fabric mesh that is coated with petrolatum emulsion. ADAPTIC dressings do not adhere to the wound and removes cleanly and painlessly. The mesh allows for wound exudate to pass through to an absorbent secondary dressing. The ADAPTIC wound dressing can be cut to size without unravelling or shredding.
